I started doing this in my late 20s. The result: ten years of extreme insomnia. Once I get my brain working on problems, I can’t sleep. It’s taken another several years to retrain myself not to think about problems and goals before going to sleep.

So that part doesn’t work for me… but journaling during a quiet time in the morning is wonderful.
